Celebrate Independent Bookshop Week with The Imaginarium!

The award winning independent bookshop in Lymington The Imaginarium has announced an exciting lineup of events happening soon. It's a family run business run by husband and wife duo, Daniel and Robyn, whose aim is to bring together a community of readers, writers and those with a love of stories in the New Forest and wider.

Here's what's coming up for Independent Bookshop Week, starting Saturday, the 15th of June:

• Saturday, 15th of June, from 5pm to 9pm: Join us for late-night shopping and drinks. Come enjoy a glass of wine and engaging conversations with fellow book lovers. Everyone is welcome, whether you've shopped with us before or not. Drop by, say hello, and have a drink on the house!

• Sunday, 16th of June: Save 10% on all titles that have won indie book awards.

• Tuesday, 18th of June, at 3:30pm: Dive into a free children’s illustration workshop led by local artist Amy Leonard. Please let us know if you'd like to attend.

• Friday, 20th of June: It's Open Mic Poetry Night! Share your favorite poems in a warm and supportive environment, and enjoy a 10% discount on all poetry books for the day. RSVP if you'd like to participate.

• Saturday, June 22nd, starting at 9:30am: Bring the kids for a free children’s story time event, plus enjoy a 10% discount on all children’s books throughout the day.

• Friday, 16th of August at 6:30pm, when we'll host author Hannah Lynn in-store for a discussion about her latest Greek Myth Retelling, "Daughters Of Olympus." Tickets are £5 and include a glass of wine, as well as a 10% discount on all books purchased that night.
